a decade in hospital & specialty medicine

Meet Allison

Allison is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who focuses on integrative and functional medicine. Her passion is caring for people whose symptoms have been complicated, persistent, or hard to explain.

That interest comes honestly: Allison spent ten years in hospital medicine, moving through intensive care, emergency medicine, pulmonary and GI specialty care, and primary care — the sickest patients and the everyday ones, and everything in between. Today she focuses on autonomic dysfunction, POTS and dysautonomia, Long COVID and post-viral illness, mold toxicity, lung and GI conditions, and pediatrics — the kinds of cases that tend to sprawl across several specialties at once.

a genuinely integrative approach

Both, always: feel better now — and find out why

Allison is genuinely integrative, not just in name. If a medication or antibiotic is what someone needs, she’ll prescribe it. She’ll also dig in with comprehensive lab work, specialized autonomic testing, IV nutrient therapies, and functional medicine tools to figure out what’s underneath — whether it’s gut health, mold exposure, nutrient deficiencies, or inflammation. The goal is always both: help you feel better now, and get at the reason you didn’t.

  • Autonomic dysfunction — POTS and dysautonomia
  • Long COVID & post-viral illness
  • Mold toxicity and environmental exposure
  • Lung & GI conditions
  • Pediatrics — complex, hard-to-explain cases
why this work matters to her

Heard, taken seriously, and part of the plan

Some of her passion comes from her own personal experience. Allison has navigated complicated health challenges herself, and she knows what it’s like to feel unwell without a clear explanation. She believes people deserve to be heard, taken seriously, and to have a real say in their care.
